Looks like a fairly nice original carburetor with original dirt which is good and original choke pull off.
It started out around $800 early this year & has been dropping. He had it @399 for quite a while. This is about the right price. It's an early date code. The one I have is 3239 for my 05C car which is the latest date code I've seen (have only seen 3 or 4 date codes). I started a thread asking for anyone's date codes and got zero replies, lol. I'm probably the only one who cares.
Good deal IMHO - I paid $150 for the one I have w/stripped fuel inlet threads and was thrilled to find it. Rare carb (of course rare ≠ valuable). One digit difference & it'd be 10x as much. I'd have bought it if it were a closer date code to my car than what I have.
