Earl Gaerte from Gaerte Racing Engines in Rochester Indiana passed away this morning. He and his company built a lot of Sprint Car, A.R.C.A. and Midget engines for big name successful teams over the years. I knew him casually from being around the car hobby and had been to his shop several times to watch some dyno runs and look at his cars. R.I.P. Earl. Mike D.
