I am not looking for a Buick part but I am looking for something cool for my daughter that absolutely loves Dr Pepper. I wondered if someone here maybe has something vintage cool I could purchase for a Christmas gift. I am looking for something just different and cool. Thanks for any help guys I appreciate it.
My father in law has a DP tricycle with a little trailer box on the back in his attic - I doubt he'd sell it, but, I will ask. Somewhere I have a picture of my wife riding it from when she was about six years old.
That'd be neat. I used to collect Coca-Cola advertising and there was (no longer) an excellent museum in Elizabethtown, KY that I visited back in the 80's on the way home from a trip to the Nationals.
Yes, Dano and his dad had the most amazing collection of Coca-Cola advertising I have ever seen in a private home collection. They had mint coke machines, service and serving trays, trinkets and memorabilia that consumed an entire basement - all neatly displayed on shelving and hung on the walls - years and years of collecting - nice stuff no junk. I wish I had taken a picture or two of that set-up. I helped him load/ haul a coke machine out of Carlisle once, too.
Thanks. I wish I had some pictures of it all. Still have a few odds & ends but not much. Shame the Schmidt museum in E-town isn't there anymore &/or that we didn't go (again for me) on any of the Nationals trips in the 90s. He owned the bottling company there had an amazing collection that he turned into a museum which was surely a loss/tax write-off. I doubt many visited & guess his kids sold it all off.
She is 19 and for some reason she has always drank Dr Pepper and loves it. She likes Cheerwine (North Carolina soda Not wine lol ) but has always preferred Dr Pepper. She recently moved out on her own and is wanting things to decorate her place. Vintage stuff. She took some of my very old vintage beer signs that my father had in his bar back in the 60's and 70's. Her friends all love the old vintage signs and items. I found a few items at estate sales like some old 10 2 4 bottles that were cool.
No Dr Pepper stuff Ryan but I used to have some vintage 7 Up stuff. I may still have a vintage 7 Up lamp. If you think she might like that, I will look for it. Has she worn out those Aerosmith albums yet?
I just looked up on ebay. " vintage dr Pepper " and there is a ton of cool stuff on there. Just be aware that some of the things such as signs might be repops if that matters.
Mike, Macie has absolutely loved the Aerosmith albums. I have been going to estate sales and picking up a few more albums here and there of old vintage rock that she may like for Christmas this year. The Dr Pepper stuff is for Cassidy. Text me a pic of the 7up lamp. She may like that but I am not sure. Its her first time living on her own and she wants some vintage cool stuff for her place. I gave her some very cool old vintage beer signs that hung in my fathers bar back in the 60's & 70's and she likes that stuff now that she is getting a little older but she has always been crazy about Dr Pepper is why I started looking for something different for her.
If I can find the 7 UP lamp I will send you a picture. Someone out here has a vintage Dr Pepper cooler for sale on Facebook Marketplace. I’ll see if I can find the ad.
