Hi! I’m replacing my door panels on my 69’ skylark custom convertible. I purchased trim moulding from eBay in hopes of installing them on the new door panels (my front passenger door panel went missing years ago so I lost the trim). Both moulding pieces that I purchased are lacking the mounting tabs on the back that poke through the panel. All but one have rusted and broken off. Does anyone have advice how i could rig something up to be able to mount the trim? Has anyone encountered this problem before?
    Thanks!!

I don’t think glue would hold it, you definitely need the tabs. I reused mine when I did my door carpet. Any type screw will show, I don’t think you can solder a tab on the back either. Got to find another set

That’s what I was afraid of.
