Dog Dish Caps

Can a dog dish cap be repaired I have several that have small cracks on the back side ??

 

I would imagine so since stainless piecea can be repaired but im sure it would cost more then tr here worth. Im actually looki g for a set and steelies to go with it

 

I have three that has small cracks in the back. If they can be fixed. I will sell them for 85.00 not including shipping !!!!

 

Did dogdish caps come on 14s or 15" rims

 

Both. 14's without trim rings, 15's with trim rings from my understanding.

 

That's correct although the 15" w/trim ring option was discontinued early in the '71 model year. 14" was the no-cost standard wheel trim (wheels painted body color or black on light colored bodies) and 15" were optional & all were painted silver.

I have a couple that are lighter weight and stainless and others that are more brass or copper based and built up. Is there a difference in change over between years???
