Hello, I am new to v8 Buick.
I have owned my 65 Riviera GS for 40 years and I just bought this 65 Skylark GS. It was from a estate and passed around a little but remained intact from the original builder. It was put together by a guy who really knew Buicks. Resto Mod. Built 455, its got a healthy cam in it, Converter, 3:73s. This thing is an Animal. Does anyone know who built this? It came from the Bridgeport Conn area. I have no cam specs or any other info on whats in the motor? I am not worried but it would be nice to have some info. Cant wait to for the weather to break so I can take it out.

    Thanks, Lou

    Welcome from Washington State!
I don't have an answer for you, but that is a fine looking GS!

    Another welcome from Washington state.

I see you are in Buffalo. I grew up in Kenmore and my dad had a car dealership on Bailey.

    More pictures please?

The Voight Racing sticker on the window was a friend of the previous owner. He died 10 years ago. He did some head work at his shop but that's all he knows. That was 15 years ago. He told me to hang on, the car runs 11.90s on pump gas. I was happy to hear that. Any info from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

Love this car. I already have a 65 Skylark that needs assembled but I almost pursued this one when it was for sale.

    Good luck with it!
