Yup, I'm gonna stick with the stock 28 spline axles for now. I'm not a weekend track junkie and on the few track passes I make I won't stress the drivetrain excessively by trying to get better and better 60 ft. times. I appreciate all the comments and advice.

Torque is not the only thing that breaks parts. LACK of oil level is HUGE ...UNDER powered cars trying to do burn out brake torquing is TERRIBLE for drive line parts. IF the car just can not ...it just can not. BUT people push and push ...it is as bad as a HARD hook on the track.
BAD suspension with the pinion wrap...that is another bad drive line issue...IF you keep doing burn outs that have that what you all call tire bouncing which is really pinion wrap...it is a very destructive hitting and slipping continuously.

Know what you mean. I run MT street drag radials and dont like Smokey burnouts. (Especially without a line lock) I just haze the tires just in front of the water enough to clean them off and stage the car. That’ll usually get me a short in the 1.8 range and I’m happy with that.
I had my WE4 for 20 years. That Turbo T had 180,000 miles on the original motor and over 200 passes in the mid 12s to high 11s with only a tranny rebuild. The rear and posi was still fine when I sold it. Hope this one does ad well.

Drag radials don’t require a smokey burnout like a traditional slick does. When they start to smoke,I roll out and stage.
