    Well, I've decided to rebuild the engine with the old distributer first. When it is broken in and the car drives again I'll look further.
    So I've checked it, and apparently something was already done to it:

    But this makes no sense to me, it only makes the spring heavier, with maximum advance even later than the factory 4600rpm...

    So I'll get rid of that spring and adjust the points gap to factory.

    That point conversion is nice looking, but also priced as such. Perhaps I'll stick with points and only do the power timing.
