    Hi guys,

I'm trying to find an alternator bracket so I can convert my 1960 Electra from a generator to an alternator.

Any alternator bracket from a 1963 - 1966 big block buick should work for what I need.

Let me know if you have one available, or know where I can find one. I've already been looking on Ebay, Craigslist, and pretty much every auto part website out there.

    thanks,
    Mike.

Russ Martin makes a polished alternator bracket, IF you want to run a newer style mini alternator. Check out his website or eBay store.

Send me a pm with your e-mail and I will send you a picture of the bracket I have.

The ONLY bracket you can use is the smaller aluminum bracket. Not the bigger bracket, it won't fit in the confines of your engine bay. You will need the two longer bolts for the bracket, the support brace that bolts to the bracket & attaches to the motor mount & the adjusting brace & associated bolts.
