I'm trying to help an internet deprived friend find the answer to a question and was wondering if i found the answer in this thread. He needs a business associate code for a specific dealer (Ted Weiner Buick in Berwick PA) and I found that dealer on your list of 1900+ dealers. Is the dealer code the same as the business associate code? If yes. I found according to the list that it's 03-354. Would the business associate code be 03-354 or just 354? Or if not any idea what a business associate code is and where I could find it? Thanks for any info.

Never heard of a "business associate" code but a dealer code is a number assigned to a dealer by GM. The first two digits are the "Zone" (geographic area of the coutry where the dealer is located) and the other three digits are an arbitrary number for that particular dealership, probably assigned sequentially as dealers opened.

Dealer code Hi Mark: My 65 Skylark came from P. L. Grissom & Son Buick 15101 Michigan Ave. Dearborn Michigan 48126 . Ordered on April 22nd 1965. delivered on May 14th 1965. I have the statement of vehicle sale and the retail order for a motor vehicle form but can seem to locate the dealer code on them. Didn't see my dealer on your list. Thanks Dan
Here's 2 more from Quebec , Canada 86-579 Giles Bedard autos lte 5250 Blv Rive-Sud Lvis , PQ , Canada note : they sold my 68 Skylark Custom , but no longer exist under this name ... now it's Cloutier Pontiac Buick at the same adress but I heard they move next year on a new place in Lvis. 86-934 Ant Labb Pontiac Buick 46 Kennedy St. Valle-Jonction , PQ , Canada note : they still exist , under the same name since 1934 !
Mark, here's another one to add to your list it is # 313 Lawson Buick-Cadillac Co Comanche Rd, Lawson Oklahoma 73501 (just south of Oklahoma City). This information was on the build sheet i found on top of the gas tank. :grin:
IIRC- it might be a good time to remind people that a Buick-Pontiac dealer (for example), would be coded differently than a Pontiac-Buick dealer. If the dealership was primarily... or first a Buick dealer, then it's code is 'Buick oriented', otherwise it would be coded to the other brand. Some 'XX Chevrolet-Buick' dealers or some such may belong on Chevrolet dealer code lists. Please confirm, Mark

Atlanta,Ga. 30311.And this info as well comes from dealer plate imprint on warranty card on a 70 Buick. sold 11-24-70.I hope others will check thier paperwork and update if they have any missing info as this is a very important project for Buick owners everywhere!
