Any opinions, former customers, or experiences with either of these guys?

I have used Just Dashes, years ago, and they were excellent. Dash still looks like it did when it came back. It was expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Had "Just Dashes" do two dashes for me. Seeing as how thats something that you have to look at the whole time in the drivers seat i had to go with Just Dashes. I think they are more attractive and richer looking than the originals and no bowing above the instrument cluster.

Those guys charge alot to do a dash. Isn't it like a grand or so these days?

You csn get a really nice original pad for a fraction of that and just dye it to match if need be.

Mine was a '68 LaSabre - not that common.

    Yes indeed, even more now!

I just called Just Dashes .......$1,500.00, plus the ride (shipping)

    Also, there's a 6 month queue/waiting line .

A restoration process of the dash pad. (like the thread title says)

Then I would suggest you place a parts wanted ad on the forum for a pristine dash. Nothing looks and fits as good as original and it is likely someone has one they would part with for the right price.

I have a very nice black A/C dash I'll be listing for sale before long.

I saw a "Just Dashes" on a car and it looked pregnant. Supposedly they don't all look that way but...

I would worry about the graining on the reproduction dash pads.

If I was buying one I would request a small sample piece to verify the grain.
