What bulbs are recommended. I see the tach I will install has small round bulbs to use I think. Any info for what to buy? Have cluster out and want to replace everything. The heater control panel has had some heat and partial melt down. What bulbs go in it. Thank you.
194 bulb. Most common used in many makes and models over many years. There's another bulb number, but is only about a half watt difference, so the 194 is the easiest to find. If you want to go led, I used the ulrabrightled ultraviolet and it is pleasent and needles are bright but background is light violet. Since dimmer rheostat won't work with led, the white LEDs are too bright for me. You can get red led for brake, oil, gen, temp and high beam. I use the incandesant 194 for turn signal indicators, as anything else was obnoxious at night.
