Wow, full weight in the 11's.

Any clue as to how much Hp hes running and his gearing?

How much weight would be saved in just swapping the hood and front bumper with fiberglass.

I would probably be OK with that.

Grimm, stick with your idea to lighten up the car and go fast. I love to see big cars that everyone thing are heavy go fast. Several years ago a student of mine bought a 59 Chevy 2 door that I had built for NHRA stock class to run the 250hp 283 fuel injection engine. Well in 72 NHRA outlawed that engine in a passenger car so I sold him the body. He started racing it with a 327 then a 396 and finally a 468 BBC with a Dominator. Everyone thought it was a tank and couldn't believe it would run as fast as it did. It was running low 6s in the 1/8 in 1988. What they didn't realize was it only weighted 3000#. I'd love to see you get it down to 3400 or so and run in the 10s. Keep at it.

    Me too.

I still would like to at least get some fiberglass on the front to lighten it up there.

Plus the alluminum parts will lighten it up a bit also.

I guess ill have to contact that place and see how much it would cost and if anyone around there has some parts for molds.

    thanks
