the bottom end of this motor is a 494 stock stroker crank with r and r aluminum rods with a je piston. compression is 9 to 1. the motor has a custom halo girdle by finishline motorsports and scotty guadagno. no lifter bore girdle or lifter bore modifications. the block is filled 3/4 of the way and a stock oiling system. the cam was a custom grind by straightline performance scott brown but was designed and ground based off of bobb makleys first solid blower cam but just a little bit smaller.
i have a replacement block in the works but it will not be a stroker.
most of the chevy blower guys say the stroker makes no difference for a chevy setup so we will see on a buick.
the heads are stage 3 and are basically just cleaned up with an out of the box ta intake.
ta performance 2 and 1/8 headers modified with 4 inch collectors and a dual 4 inch exhaust with 3 sets of mufflers to quiet it down a little.
thanks for all the interest and support on this deal and i just want to thank bobb makley for giving me the most help with this procharger disease.

That explains it, I didn't think that bottom end was stock. Congrats on the run glad I was there to see it.

John, it was just AWESOME watching you run those numbers, especially after the headaches that top-end shutoff was causing you. After you pulled the air filter off and the car made clean passes through the finishline, I was jumping up and down when the numbers came up on the scoreboard. Almost 4000 pounds and it runs like it's trying to leave the earth's gravity. :TU:

I was already sold on adding a ProCharger to my combination, and this just seals the deal! :beer

I agree, the car is gorgeous! Thanks for posting the video Larry! Cecil is a great track to watch you all race, is fun to see all the quick times & smiles that go along with them. Next year we should be able to make it -- gotta get my Woodys fix!

Local guy here Dave Hinzman set the Procharger "bar" pretty high with a 7.18 at over 200 in his Drag Radial car this past weekend.....The power is out there.
Congrat's to the Csordas team on the performance!

ya I agree I was there when he went 7.36 at milan. Bad thing is I think it is the start of the death of drag radial a lot of guy's are going to back off the cost of that is so high.

    Awsome...

Fastest street driven v8 Buick in the country?

Bob...Any chance we could get more info on that Halo set up? Are these main caps pinned/doweled? Steel or cast iron. Pan?

I have a simular set up out in the garage (494 aluminum rod)

    Thanks!

for a halo girdle contact finishline motorsports or rob giroux on here as robsbuick from precision billet designs as he is now making the halo girdle also. i just purchased 2 from him and the quality and look is great. we used them and machined the main caps flush just like we did with the one from finishline. both halos fit great.
