Correct temp sending unit for gauges?

    70 GS with gauges…I think I have the wrong one installed. It’s not registering anything on the gauge.

    You should be able to read resistance with your ohm meter through the sensor.
    A warning light sensor will show open circuit.

    The sensor and the switch look very different from one another

    I have the one with a single spade.

    Parts store senders will not read close to the originals unless it's one from Lectric Limited like Larry posted
