Is it possible to rebuild a leaking convertible top lift cylinder? Mine are leaking and need either replaced or repaired. It's a '64 Wildcat if it makes a difference. I've rebuilt a lot of hydraulic cylinders as long as they are not of the welded variety and the rams are not pitted they can usually be rebuilt cheaply. I've not seen a rebuild kit or seal kit for any applications. Also, the factory manuals don't say anything about repairing them, only replacing. Can they be rebuilt?o No:
