Does anyone know what fluid was used for Convertible pump on 1971? I know you can't mix and I don't know what is in there now. I believe the switch from brake fluid to ATF fluid occurred around 1968? But not sure. Is it safe to just top off with ATF on a 71, or do I need to worry that ATF isn't compatible with whatever the stock fluid was in that year?
