I just recieved a new PUI Convertible Top Boot cover for my 1964 Special (Skylark), and have a few questions on its installation. The clip part I figured out and attached them to the cover with rivets. Not much of a solid attachment, in my opinion to the car's trim but thats how they designed it....
There are a few domed buttons on the side of the piston covers and thats pretty much straight forward. There is a strip of velcro sowned in the cover around the top of the seat area that should be attached to something to make it secure otherwise would just flop around in the wind, but what is it? Is there something that I'm missing here?
I see a grooved metal track behind the top edge of the seat back and wondering if there is something supposed to be there?

There's a piece of plastic "T" shaped rail that has the other half of the velcro on it that slides into that metal trough. I imagine it can be bought from places like Ames Pontiac parts.

I checked out Ames and see it in the Ames parts book..... and the only place I have seen it too. Thanks for the tip.
