I'm in the heart of the DFW metroplex!!! I'd love to be out in the middle of nowhere. Too many weirdos around here!

Car seems to be running really good. Just haven't taken it out to the track.

Got to get some new everyday shoes put on the Buick rims 'cause I'm taking those aluminum wheels off! They tend to rub the front fender when you hit a bump since they are big and I don't have BB springs on the front.

I really wanted to get that temp. freeze plug out of it before I took it out of town again. It's blown out twice. Didn't want to do the header gasket until after I lifted the engine and replaced the plug, but went ahead and replaced the bad gasket yesterday anyway.

Being tight with my $, I really don't want to pay to play at Temple unless I know the car is going to run. :Brow:

What I want to do dee is put a sign in sheet near the grill so we can get a total count of people on hand, and need help with the T-shirts... I am sure I can find some help at the track also if needed. We could always use a nice looking blond receptionist that could meet all the single Buick guys :Brow:

Thank you! I'm really not too blonde anymore. I've turned pretty (really ugly) gray lately!

I might have a tag-a-long (Jeff) depending on his status at that time of the week... :Dou: :eek2: I can still help "everyone" (especially the single guys) while they sign in though! :TU:

    Trying to make it.

    Hey Phil,
I'm trying to get the car ready for the drive over. I got it running but it developed an exhaust leak. I have a set of the M/T headers so I was going to put them on. Well, as usual luck would have it, the very last two bolts broke off in the head. :af: Now, I'm trying to get a new head gasket ordered so I can pull the head and get the bolts out. If I get all that finished, I still have to fix the brakes. That shouldn't be too much of a problem. I just hope I have enough time. I will be there regardless, I just wanted to bring the car too. Guess I better quit typing :Comp: and start turning wrenches :Brow:
    Talk to ya later. :TU:

    northcorner Guess what I'm thinking..

I'm headed over to help Cliff right now Phil, so don't worry. He AND his car will be there.

How soon can we start burning gas and rubber next saturday? I've got a lot of tuning to do, so the earlier the better for me.
