Sorry George, I meant David 455pev Herb, yes send the wheels with dave. I will be at BPG on Friday only. David, please bring all 10. thanks. Ryan, yes bring all that you think have usable centers.
So David(10), George(2), and Herb (?) are bringing wheels to BPG. Ryan, how many are you bringing? Anyone else? 69GS400s Boostd1 Shadewolf
I have 32 rims total, but will not be going to bpg. Will have to arrange a meet point some time. Also found a large number of buick rims with a higher chrome center that are all 15s. I have never seen them before so I don't know if people want them. Maybe half an inch taller than a wg center.
Ryan, Can you PM me with your cell number so we can get together Friday? Thanks shadewolf, what are the codes on the taller wheels? Are they for fullsize cars or Skylark/Regal?
The rims I have are for the skylark/gs, I left the Regal rims alone for now. I think that theres another 30 or so of those rims available if you are interested.
I do not want the regal rims. They are incorrect for what I use them for. Good rule of thumb is if they say made in Canada they are the tall nose wheels I do not use. They started sometime in 1980 for the 14" wheels.
Steve it was nice meeting you! Thanks for the great parts, I can't wait to see how the wheels come out.
5x5 wheels are 2 piece, front half and rear half, welded together and chromed. There is no way to remove the center and install it in a new outer shell as on a A body wheel. There is also no one who will rechrome a 5x5 wheel for a realistic price.
Howdy Steve Are you still making rims and if so can you make 17" rims??? Just wondering, I'm looking at changing to 17" (17x8 Front, 17x9 Rear) and I'd like to stay "Buick Looking" as much as I could... I'm thinking about these American Racing from Year One https://www.yearone.com/Product/1964-72-skylark-gs/bmws1#prettyPhoto... As you can see they look close to Buick Rims but not quite... Can you do it??? Thanks David
