Yesterdays temps started at 31F rose to 50F about 7:00 PM. Wind picked up about that time as the temps were falling fast. About 8:00PM a big Dead Elm tree in the back yard I have been planing on cutting down come summer shed a huge branch.

Presently 7:55 AM it is 19F feels 4F.

I am happy I turned down the chance to take Our Buick, Our road yesterday was slush and mud. The first black top road we reached was also slush and salt and sand mix.
Covered on a trailer would have been fine but to drive it NA ain't gona do that.

Not going to even attend it as I want to clean up the back yard mess and I do not do well in crouds like will attend Chrome and Ice Saturday and Sunday.
Last years attempt to navagate Sawginaw Street Back to the Bricks summer event showed me that.

You can see a few of the cars/trucks there and hear interviews with people.
Go to ABC 12 Flint TV for the stories.

I don’t blame you Al for not putting your car in. I thought about applying to but I don’t have a trailer and you can’t count on the weather in Michigan. I’m planning on going this afternoon, maybe I’ll see you there!

Smokey15 So old that I use AARP bolts.

I can understand. When we had AutoRama (winter) here in GR, it was a pain in the arse getting cars there and home. It always seemed that the weather was nasty on that weekend.
We haven't been to The Bricks for several years now so I have no idea what the crowds there are like. It used to be the biggest loud-mouthed idiots didn't even own a car. Fortunately, back then they were in small numbers.

Whitey we decided we are not even going as spectators. We have seen most of the cars and we can wait ruffly 70 some days to see them at shows.

They charge like $5.00 parking and $8.00 per adult no senior discount or other either to see cars we have problbly got pictures of all ready.
I'm not intrested in the red or black Lambo's to pricy for me, even the Viper I dreamed about owning some day when I could get the Chrylser employes discount doesn't trip my trigger any more pluse it is the wrong color.

Northwood should be posting their spring car show date soon. Last year it was the first one at the end of April.
Port Huron has their date up July 27th, Goodrich is up August 3d, Memphis is August 24th and Sunduskys fall show is up Sept. 7th.

We are going to try a few new ones this year and skip some of last years. Want to try to do Northport, Back to the Bricks Cadillac, I put a lot of rubber on those bricks as a teen ager cruiseing from the Hill top to the north to the A to the north. The A is gone today a big strip mall was put in and Kmart had a store there. I believe it is the new home for the Ford dealer today.

Hope to see ya Whitey at one before the water street back to the bricks Buick show.
