    Harry,
Did you get your car painted in the DC areaor is that the orginal paint job? I have been quoted anywhere between 2500 and 5000.
    Thanks

My car was painted in 2000 at Professional Auto Body on Pickett St. in Alexandria.

I wanted a clearcoat finish. They did a match to a 1986 Subaru yellow. It looks like the original color, but deeper and much shinier. Cost was $2000, including fixing a fender dent and painting the top a gloss black color.

The top had been vinyl. I removed it and cleaned the area and masked the edges. Black paint was a correct 1966 factory option.

Duane-I have the build sheet for my Fremont built '69 California GS if want a copy of that. You just fold them in half and put them up to your forehead like Johnny Carson use to do right? Anyway-the broadcast sheet you did for my '67 Baltimore GS400 was found just where YellowLark found his. Cool.

    Scott,
If you could send a copy of the buildsheet, along with the info from the id plate on the firewall, that would be great. I don't think I have any sheets from 69 California GS's.

    Scott,
That will be great. I have sheets from a 69 Skylark Coupe, GS 350 Coupe, and a GS 400 Coupe so a GS California should help get some new codes.
