After the 1500 mile ride to Illinois last weekend,I have been disturbed that I do not have a spare rim for my trailer.And,I not only need one,I WANT ONE.Before I get the "contact Featherlite" replies, I will let you all know I have done that and was given the runaround by them.I was told to contact dealers(already tried the selling dealer to me as well as 3 other dealers) to no avail. I would really like to have a similar wheel as I have but its not necessary. I also lost a Featherlite center cap and would like to find one of those or maybe 2.The wheels are 15x6 or 7 inch 5 lug,with 4 1/2 inch spacing.Tires are 205/75/15's.If I have to get a different style wheel,that would be aceptable as well.I would prefer a wheel alone without a tire so shipping wont break the bank. I can get a spare tire locally.Anyone have ideas??

(I was going to say are you going to mount it on your tongue, but that would have been so...wrong). Surely a Featherlite dealer can sell you a rim, or eBay.

It seems the dealers have the trailers,but don't keep spare rims in stock for them. I was a bit upset that I called 3 dealers in 3 states and all of them didn't carry spare rims.When calling featherlite,they just play phone tag then I get a woman who knows absolutely nothing about my trailerand she tells me to contact a dealer,of which she lists for me the numbers.1 of them in Pa is getting out of the trailer business and has no stock of any kind anymore.I have been searching EBAY but alsmos all of them sell the wheel/tire combo and only want to sell 4 at a time.Guess I'll have to keep looking hoping to get lucky. The wheel is a steel wheel an should be something common.I don't care if the spare matches,just that it works. Guess they want to sell you a trailer and then forget you after you spend the money...

In my case, the trailer uses the GM big car bolt pattern (5 on 5) so I just use a plain steel wheel (15x6") I had laying around from a previous car. Put a new tire on it and you're fine. As long as the backspacing is similar - besides, it's only going to be on there until you get the other one fixed/replaced. And you can find steel wheels in any junkyard for $20 or less.

I'd imagine any trailer dealer could help you even if it's not a featherlite dealer. a tire dealer should be able to help too. heck even tire rack more than likely sells something that would work. my local northern tool sells a lot of wheels as well.
