I have a 73 riv with the moonroof option. Just the other day I was driving down highway and all of a sudden the moon roof flies off the car. It scared the crap out of me. So look back make sure no one was hit and luckly they werent. So I get off the highway and turn around to go back to get it and the thing was banged up in the middle of the highway so I wasnt about to walk across the highway traffic during rain to kill myself for the broken up thing. So if anyone is parting out a boattail with a moonroof please help me out. Thank you Nick

Man I would have but the thing was all torn up. It was bent in half and everything. It wasnt worth the risk at all.
I talked to a Riviera owner a few years ago who had the same thing happen to his car. Must be some kind of design defect. Have you tried posting on the Riviera list?
