Monday night the wife and I were on the Ohio Turnpike and I passed a Freightliner CABOVER How cool that was to see!

The New K220 with CMV Truck Centre The team at CMV Truck Centre were thrilled to get up close and personal with the Next Level Kenworth K220 during delivery of the Validation model for long-time, valued customer Collins Transport. For the exciting hand over, we were lucky enough to be joined by Kenworth Australia Chief Engineer, Noelle Parlier, who takes us through the new features in the K220 along with CMV Truck Centre Managing Director, Jonathon Crawford, and the Collins Transport team.
K220 Sleeper Options The K220 2.3m and 2.8m sleeper cabs offer our greatest ever range of optional sleeper storage and bunk options.
Sharp looking tractor! I like the fact they have round headlights that look old school, they're not the pop bottle lights you see on some motorhomes.
I spotted this late 70's White-Freightliner at a scrap yard close to High River, AB: In 1951, Freightliner signed an agreement with the White Motor Co. to sell Freightliner trucks through White Dealerships. The trucks became White-Freightliner, gaining momentum through the 1950s and exploding in sales through the 1960s.
Here's another White-Freightliner at the same location. This model was built in Calgary, for the Canadian market. Notice the Canada script under the WF emblems:
Saw a styling COE still in active use as I pulled into Port Everglades the other day. Going the opposite direction so no pics.
And another video from that same era. Not a lot of cabovers, but still cool: Trucking in the 1970's Follow a husband & wife trucking team back in the 1970's.
More cabovers in this video: Vintage 1970s Truck Driver PSA: River of Wealth, River of Freedom I have to train WHO? The River of Wealth and Freedom. Presented by GMC and the American Trucking Association Foundation. Found on side 2 of the 1978 GMC Truck DiscoVision / Laserdisk. An interesting look at women in the workplace in the late 1970s, and a nice snapshot of what the highways looked like almost 40 years ago. Sadly there is a bit of LaserRot, especially at the beginning of the film.
Gotta finish watching this! I like the air motored wipers, DAH, dah dadadada Or how ever they sound lol
