Any suggestions on where to get the windlace for the rear door jamb in Burnished Saddle (1970 - 179 Interior)? OPGI had a lighter brown, but the decorative bead was glued (poorly) to the c-channel part that pushes overe the body sheet metal. SMS said they could help, but I ended up with a roll of just the beaded material.

Both sides of my old ones have splits in them. What I would like is in the middle of this pic 20210227_145845(0).jpg ture.

I have one in the middle. Correct 1970 burnished saddle. I think it does have a minor split, but maybe it’s better than what you have.

I have minor splits too. Just looking for ones without splits.

Finally getting around to finishing this little project. I tried two different colors from SEM in their Color Coat series. Bluebird Brown #15843 (lighter brown) and Cordovan Brown #15023 (darker). My interior is the TR 179 Burnished Saddle. It seems to have any number of different hues of brown, depending on the piece of interior trim. I started with the Bluebird Brown, but it just looked too light in my opinion. The second set of pictures is the Cordovan Brown, which isn't exact but probably matches the door cards the best.

Bluebird Brown installed. Also next to the stock door jamb windlace on my truck's tailgate.

Cordovan Brown next to the stock door jamb windlace. Since this spray paint is $24 / can, maybe someone else can use this information.

So I have a code 189 Burnished Saddle interior for 70 GS455 so Deluxe interior. So I ordered all the stuff from Legendary and the plastic pieces came in too light. It was really saddle. They told me to contact with Kolor Kraft for custom paint. You can see their code is 658G on the can which is the same color code Legendary uses when you order the interior. Spray cans are pricey but appear to match to me.

I painted my new plastic seat backs and the original dash pad, windlace, console and kick panels.

I did not use this to paint the headliner windlace around the top as that seems to be darker like the Cordova brown. The Cordova brown seemed to dark for the door windlace (tried that first).
