How About $200+s&h, you keep the shifter, console and tach, I get the linkages and rubber boot. Can you shoot me a pic of the linkages ? Is the part on the trans selector shaft the same for floor shift? and is it with the linkages? I was in Tampa last year,(harbour dinner cruise was great) but won't likely be there this year. I know a lot of Canuckleheads go to Fla in the winter, but none of my buddies do. Gary
"Is the part on the trans selector shaft the same for floor shift? and is it with the linkages?" Well, geewizz, I just dont know that answer. I am not a Cat dood so perhaps thumbiddy that nose will jump in....
Here ya go. The first 4 images are the linkages and console YOU inquired about. The other 2 (red console) linkages appear slightly different and the Shifter linkage rod is intact but the connecting trans rod is missing. . . FWIW, again, these are older FILE FOTOS..from maybe over a year ago...
Thanks! The linkage set up with the rubber bootie in the first pics (Beige Console) look complete to me and I'll take it. Both consoles are for an earlier Cat as is the shifter, so you can find them a good home as my later, "68 Cat has a different console and shifter. I will PM you for shipping details and costs.
Ok Kevin...here goes: I removed the trims from my storage rafters after sitt'n up there for many years. They were filthy as the first coupla pix show. So, I brought them home and washed'um up for ya! NOTE: I DID NOT polish these...just a quick wash- TIDE bath!!! These trims are about how I remember them, really reeeealy nice... perhaps not quite absatively posalutely showroom gorgeous, but DERN NEAR the best I've seen. Thats why I saved them. Perhaps an almost unnoticable small ding here'n there on one, and a slight flat area on another one, but, there are NO EXTRA mounting screw holes, NO stainless tears, no parking lot fender rash, and all 4 have that excellent stainless chrome finish look. Meanwhile, I will hold them FOR YOU, and ask Loren to put his eyes on them to give you his take when he gets here in December.... I think you will be happy with them.... Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Gary, I DID look, however, I DID NOT find the shifter linkage for the Cat console yet... I will be back at the warhouse on thursday. Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Thanks Wheelz, please let me know if I need to do anything, like send money. I’m not in a hurry as the car is currently on a rotisserie. If for some reason my restoration goes to high speed through the winter (very unlikely) we can work something out on shipping. Otherwise Loren can pick them up, I know Loren is looking forward to stopping by for a visit.. Thanks Again! Kevin
Hi Kevin, when Loren gets here, I will let him describe the NICE conditions these are in... If you wantum, then you can SHOW-ME-THE-MUNEY!!! $395 PayPal works. If ya need anything else, ask! Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Gary, Can I hear a YAAAY!!! Yes, I finally found a handfull of linkages/rods etc. I will hafta put together the parts that are in the pix to make absolutely certain you are getting what you need... Wheelz, Tampa bay
Dennis, I’ll take the 65 pkg tray, if available, and I’m still looking for 65 steering wheel if anyone has a line on one.
Thanks Wheelz, The shifter linkages arrived this evening. Looking forward to installing them in the Spring! Thanks again, Gary
