Looking to compile a list of stolen Buicks - vehicle, distinguishing marks, when/where, owner and contact info, etc Searching around the net ive found some interesting adds, posts, listings, leads, etc and would greatly benefit from any specific info on what to look for. There are 9 pages of posts with reference to stolen vehicles on the forum, and i plan to search through them some, but for those who would appreciate the help you may post here and list your vehicle. You can also PM me with info or for specifics, just remember this is for a good cause and i only ask so i know what to keep an eye out for. Anyone else who might benefit from this post are bonus points I start here because i know how passionate and tight knit this V8Buick community is, even more-so than most classic/collector car forums, and honestly id love to see that karma repayed by helping someone get their pride and joy back. When this stuff happens its not just a stolen material item, its an invasion of privacy and lively hood, its like having a child abducted. Some of these people have owned their cars from the lot and at that point the car isnt just a collection of parts nor does it hold any monotary value, its a part of the family, its a part of your life, a part of what makes you who you are. My uncle had his 69 Barracuda Formula-S 340 4-speed stolen and stripped and while i know we can never get that back, at least maybe i can help someone else in their search before that might happen to them. Thanks. Yeah ive run into a couple suspicious vehicles in the past and would like to just keep a running thread for it. I have a few im looking into right now that i feel just dont add up and could very possibly be stolen.
