I was just wondering why Buick Quadrajets are not worth that much money like the 7028242, 7043240 ... some real nice performing 800 cfm carbs worth hardly anything compare to Chev , Pontiac ...
How Chevy became more valuable than a Buick is certainly a wonder of the world. Chevys are popular, more people like them, more aftermarket parts available. Original Chevy parts are more sought after = higher price. Take the good with the bad, Buick carburetor = (somewhat) inexpensive, aftermarket Buick parts (headers) = expensive. Buick is kind of the opposite from Chevy stuff cost wise.
