A small correction in the Saturday event is that it is called US Musclce Drags. Basically I think anything American is able to race. Saturday's racing has not been very crowed the last couple of years so they are trying to draw some more cars. Last year there were about 25 Pontiacs racing and maybe 10 Oldsmobiles. You could have gotten 5 or 6 time trials last year with no problem. It's fun blowing the other brands away!!!

Bill: Bring an extra VCR and tape. We'll copy it in the bus. You still need to give me three car lengths.

    Thanks John
I'll see what I can do.
I have a Light blue fiberglass bumper coming from arizona, not sure if I'll have it by friday. When I install it on my wagon, it will read "This bumper has been 9.09 @ 149"
Do you think that will help me "GO real fast with class"?

I have considered coming, but since I have no mufflers for Saturday's race, and the car looks like a POS, I don't think I can make it, even though it's only 4 hrs from my folks, but 8 hrs from here to my parents place, and I would have a hard time getting them to go with me, that stinks! All the best to Doug to run his 8's, I think he will make it, looking at the weather conditions! Cecil, maybe, but that's another story, I have a couple of other things going on the weekend before, like Wally and Michelle's wedding on OCtober 4th, and I am on deck to deliver the Bride, Michelle to the festivities, in the '68 GS 400 convertible,4-speed, red and black and Rich Studemann is to deliver the bridesmaids in his '67 GS400,convertible, 4-speed, also red and black and the Wally, the Groom. is to be delivered in Clark Bowman's '74 GS, Screaming Yellow Zonker, and his groom's men in Cecil Chalmer's "70 Skylark Convertible, GSX Clone! The wedding will take place at 1PM on October 4th at Beecher and Elms Rd in Flint, and the reception will be at 7PM at Barb and Dale's at Frances Rd just west of Elms Rd. All Buick folks are invited to attend, camping at Barb and Dale's is ok, tents, campers, etc. For hotel info, check out the Hampton Inn, Baymont Inn, all within 10 miles of Barb and Dale's!

Thanks for the warning Carl. Guess this means I'll leave my GS at home and take the GN for the car show :)
