For Father’s Day, my girls made me slow cooked short ribs, corn off the cob, fresh avocado and grey goose to go with!
Simple grilled chicken breast, baked, broccoli & salad. Margaritas for the wash. Lord knows Mart needs a couple drinks!
We did Detroit coneys tonight, CMO, that’s chilly, mustard and onions, for those not from Detroit. Accompanied by Hornitos reposado.
By the way, now that I know what’s going on, skip the margarita mix, and just go straight for the tequila in large amounts!

Probably a good repeat dish, as I hardly ever have a good/new idea. 2 of the freshest bags of muscles I’ve ever seen. I normally throw away 30%. Out of 2 bundles only 1 got disposed of, not dead but broken. Anyway with ongoing barbecue meat fest and a bit of rain this sounded good. Practically a whole bunch of garlic, mountain of crushed red pepper, fresh oregano, basil from the garden, 2 big cans of diced tomatoes, Little red onion, scallions. Sautéed And thrown over linguine, no complaints.
