Got up early, prepped scratch sauce, with Italian sweet sausage and meatballs, will side with salad and Parmesan garlic bread.

Puttering around the pool with the lanai doors open and the backyard smells amazing.

    Happy Sunday!

I don’t want to bore anybody but we did our regular family, Sunday steak grilling night. 284E1EB1-D465-4773-B949-8ED25C85B6DE.jpeg 25CB74D0-8E97-47C5-A263-F6B1C68DB3A0.jpeg 00FE6CE8-7C6F-4326-B6FB-34E257336C7D.jpeg

I actually cook my steaks on a searing burner, modified by yours truly to achieve 1600 degrees. Also modified to get the steak 2 inches from the burner.

I would like to see that setup. These new grills just don’t get hot enough.

Chicken thighs, garlic, onions, paprika and some leftover soup/stock. 1hr+- in electric pan. Oven roasted potato wedges ( olive oil, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper). Steamed broccoli. Generally just staple dishes on week days this time of year. 75E7E120-5E8E-469C-9CFA-56287766EF7C.jpeg

I just looked at how unkept my dish was. I think I was on round 2 or 3.

My take on bolognese sauce. Craving carbs with this cooler weather E2BEFAE7-88B5-4BB3-8290-537F13530447.jpeg

    20211012_183541.jpg Tonite's special...
    Butterfly chops over brown rice.
    Grilled & baked for 1 hr @ 350,
The 1 cup of rice blows up to 1" thick under chops.

20211023_172631.jpg 20211023_172708.jpg Had a taste for Italian tonite....
Penne, meat sauce with mushrooms, celery, onion & garlic.
Daou cab, nice romaine salad with my Camparis, thin sliced onion, red grapes, apple slivers.
Yeah I know, ... how come no bread!:D

    Went down pretty well.:) :D

That’s really funny Fred LOL, I’m gonna do hamburger steaks tomorrow night because we’re skipping the bread as well.
