Buick console

The ad says this is for a '69 Skylark but I've never seen one quite like this. Not mine, but it is local to me if anyone is serious. If the seller doesn't want to deal with shipping I'd be willing to help out there.

I’ve never seen that style either, cool stuff.

 

I bought one just like that for my '63 wagon, and the eBay listing said it was from a Wildcat.

 

Maybe it was an accessory piece that dealers sold ?

 

I am OCD on stand alone consoles, I absolutely love them,I have 4 speed consolettes,”roll top” 8-track consoles,type 1 & type 2 shorties,the “ironing board” console (64 or 65?) but never seen this one. I’ll bet that Tri-Shield coin on the lid is darn close to the same as the coin on the Star Wars air cleaner & the base looks like a type 1 & 2 shorty.
Wish money was no object or I’d buy it just to add to my disease lol

 

I'm just guessing - maybe not Buick and someone put Buick tri shield badge on it.
Part # would tell the story.

1963 Electra 225 with buckets used this console! May have been available in the Wildcat and Lesabre with buckets also! Don’t think the screws in the back of the lid are correct!? Kind of a neat looking animal! Has decent amount of space in it!

 

Looks big enough to hold a mini bar !
