Buick Bash at New England Dragway NH April 2014

Anyone going to the Buick bash at New England dragway? Has anyone ever attended it before?

My ride won`t be ready , but I`ll be there. We may have to plow the strip if it keeps snowing.....

 

What is the actual date? I'll be there if all goes well.

April 13 is the date.. looking to take my turbocharged 401 nailhead down the track for the first time. Tring to get it back together with the new turbo and setup

My car is an ongoing frame-off and will not be at any Bashes in the near future, but I go for inspiration.
Dragstrip is about 10 minutes from the house. I can hear the cars running from my backyard! :3gears:

do you know if they will let me run without a hood. i just fired the car up with the new setup. I wont be making full passes because the car has 100 miles since completed and still is working the bugs out but would like to tune it their and maybe make a full pass if i can get it tuned. i had hood to radiator clearance issue and havnt had the time to take care of it. i still have to put seatbelts in the car, finish welding the front bumper back together front the guy who backed into my car after it was complete.

I'm planning on it but don't think I will be running the car as I still have NO traction. Budget constraints have delayed the purchase of rims and slicks.

 

If running with NO hood an air cleaner is required.

 

I am not running slicks or drag radials.. 275 street tire with a unturned car. just finished ceramic coating the exhaust for my turbo but have to let it fully cure for 24 hours. worried about passing tech. I have my optimum red top in the truck but not in a box. it is on a battery tray and bolted down. will that pass? fuel regulator is on the firewall.. is that going to be a problem? never raced at the track so I am rookie.. what will they be looking for? thank you for any help.

Regulator shouldn't be an issue. Need to check the rule book on the battery. Go to the NED website and download the NHRA rule book.
