This is a visual aid to help those of us replacing the front bucket seat cushions of where to make the horizontal seam missing from the upright seat back. 20210408_160232.jpg

    Maybe this will help?

I used the 66-70 ACI foams and my interior guy had to do a little finessing.

Yes, that is a great visual aid. Thanks. I ordered the 66 to 70 ACI (GMA6670) also, and I understand none of the available repro foams have the U shaped upper cushion already cut.

What did you use to cut it?

I'm not sure what he used but he did say it wasn't difficult to emulate.

I keep some original cushions for this reason. To use as a pattern to modify new cushions so the listings on the seats will fasten correctly and result in the correct look. Not the look of an interior that was thrown together by a “professional” shop to flip the car at an auction.

I used an electric knife like for the turkey at Thanksgiving.

I have had an electric knife used on me but they were NOT nice enuff to call me “Turkey”:D:D:D:D

Seriously though sounds like a good method to me : )

I have a high dollar textile laboratory material cutter with a razor disc kinda like a glorified jig saw except stronger and crazy sharp but it looks like it wants to hurt me everything I look at it in the barn.
I believe Dad was going to use it for cutting foam for a project he was working on but he never got a chance to use it God bless him
