Thanks for showing pictures and the update.
    Looks like an awesome field.
Did the dial ins get to be changed during the event or did it run just like last year with fastest qualifying run?
Happy it went well for all and hope to be there next year.

Ran just like last year with your fastest qualifying run being your dail in. Hope to see you next year

I trust you took my comment about “the aerodynamics” of such in the intended humor… (thus, to be continued…)
I have been derided for many years for my “Deluxe Wheel Covers,” (and have turned down uncountable offers of a “good deal” on sport wheels…) On strictly “class rules,” I have it on good authority that BSA Co-Czar Patrick has given the owner of the “early car” with the “inappropriate (secret weapon) Deluxe Wheel Covers” 20-30 lashings with a wet noodle.
While my home track was rather strict, requiring the nakedness of my black-painted front 14x6’s, I may have “flaunted” the “flexibility” of tech in BG, and raced with the “inappropriate (secret weapon) Deluxe Wheel Covers” Despite never having “trained with them,” the “undeniable aerodynamic advantage” of such may or may not have contributed to my “success” (2nd place finish) in 2008.
In summation… The potential aerodynamic advantage of the Deluxe Wheel Cover is not yet proven, only a theoretical advantage. (As I write this, leaning over my shoulder, my girlfriend is screaming “This Ain’t Bonneville!!!” Hoping to be soon otherwise occupied, additional conversation may or may not be forthcoming…)

Well I was thinking I’d be able to participate next year, but may have to restart the Wildcat Challenge with Wild Bill. Both our Wildcats are modified so we are technically out of contention for BSA. ( headers, 5-speed and x code intake are my mods).
No idea if there is another class appropriate. doubtful if we would run like Tom Wagner.

That sounds like a super car that I want to see when finished! You can bring more than one car if you want, and I don’t think you’d have too much trouble finding something in your garage that meets BSA rules (including last years GS350 three-speed!). We missed you this year!

Totally took it that way, lol. But, look at the covers the tractor-trailers use on their wheels. You might be into something:). But then there's the increase in mass of the rotating assemblies. Much further testing is required.
