Breather Cap instead of Tube?

Hi all, running a 350 2BBL and the breather hose from the valve to the intake is kinked. Can i remove this hose and just but a breather cap/filter on the valve? dont wanna cause any problems.

 

Flip hose end for end. The kink will disappear. Maybe cut an inch or so off too.. Or just get a new piece of hose.
Maybe Spring from hardware store placed inside hose will keep it from collapsing.

 

You can also use a PVC hard 90..... any plumbing supply......

 

You can use a push in breather, but it’s not as effective as the vacuum draw the factory set up is

 

U can purchase the correct hose from Cars.

 

Getting a factory hose, wanna keep it original as possible. Will be using a breather until it arrives.
