    Hi,

First a big "congratulations" with the awesome BPG-nationals at Quaker-city. It seems to have been a great success. Keep it going guys. :beer

My problem/question: I was told in this forum a couple of weeks ago that anyone who owns a Buick can join the BPG, no matter where they reside. I have signed up and paid a two-year membership, but haven't heard anything yet. No confirmation by email or anything. :Do No:

Will I not be accepted as a "non-US"-resident? or is it just because they are busy at the "BPG-office" at the moment?

Thanks for any comment on this one, :)

    Stig.

Stig. your membership will usually be processed in 2/3 weeks, everyone was very busy with running the Nats. so we may be a liitle behind, and you are more than welcome to be a BPG member wherever you reside, or whatever type of vehicle you own. Pease be patient and you should see something in the mail shortly.

    Thanks, Bruce

Thanks for all the wellcomin', that's nice.

It's 2 weeks today since I've heard from the BPG office. That was when I was told to pay an extra $25,- for my 2-year membership, which I did of course. I haven't heard anything yet though, not even a confirmation of my additional payment. :Do No:

I know I've had some mail-server problems :error: at my end, so maybe that's why I don't get any response from BPG at the moment.

Could someone maybe ask them if they've recieved my money?

    Stig.

Stig, please email to Beth(club membership contact) at beth@buickperformancegroup.com She should be able to answer any questions you may have. All club officials are unpaid volunteers, doing these tasks on their own time, and I'm sure it's been very busy since our club nats a few weeks ago, when we had a lot of new member signups. I'm sure she'll reply to you in a timely manner. You could also try posting directly on the BPG board at www.bpgforums.com , since the V8 board is not a BPG function.

    Murphy Just Getting Started

    Stig,
Welcome to the club. It took probably all of the 2-3 weeks to get my info packet when I joined. I'm sure it will take a little extra time getting it to you overseas. But I'm sure they will get it to you as quickly as they can. I'm sure they have been running with the show, and just need a little extra time to catch up on things now. Again, welcome to the club.

Hey, Stig - WELCOME to the BPG! As others have mentioned, the BPG Secretary has been a bit overwhelmed with about 50 new memberships since the Buick Nationals. There's a lot of stuff to put together initially for new members and it has taken a couple of weeks longer than normal. I did check with Beth today and she said your packet should go out within the next couple of days. She said she has sent a couple of e-mails, but she did send another one tonight as it sounds like your e-mail over there hasn't been real consistent, so please let us know if you receive it or not.

    Thanks!

    :) :) :) :) :)

YES!!!...I got an email from Beth today, telling me that something is going my way by mail in a couple of days, just like SmittyDawg wrote earlier today. I also got a confirmation of recieved payment. Everything seemes in order.

She has been busy with new members and the BPG-Nats, so there has been some delay. No problem!!!

Thanks for helping out, guys! :bglasses:

I have had problems with my emailserver for several weeks now, and my internetprovider just keep telling me it will be normal soon, but imagine getting "new" mail everyday that was originally sent to You 2 or 3 weeks ago. That's a hard way to communicate. I really hope it'll pass.
