well i hope you can SEE that the deck on the new TA block blocks off the oil drain backs in the head, I hope you SEE that if you buy a raised cam block that he changed the lifter bore angle before you spend 1200 bucks on a cam thats now a door stop, yes you will SEE heads ready to rock in a few weeks not a few years but you will only SEE and never have. if you didnt want to pay out the cash no problem but theres no need to be a bunch of a$$ holes about it. best of luck to the buick community and everyone on this board.

man I post something of my own opinion and you guys take it and bend it all out of shape. Im the one that said he was the BEST head porter around. and thats my opinoin. and last a looked i was aloud my opinion. I ahve head buick guys **** up my heads and then got some Bad ass heads done by my cusion and though after he crushed the numbers on my uncles heads I took it as a great chance to get him some more work. not just buick guys but work. trust me I gave soem chevy guys his number that are waiting for tax money and are going to be giving him a call. after all if he can get those numbers out of a head like that(buick) what could he do with a BBC head or a Harley or even a honda or toyota. an trust me I think the 18 inch arms cam from being a Marine an makeing sure your freedom and mine are still here. so if its that a might just jump on a plane to watch him smash some heads. maybe join in. but then again what would Lasseter say of us showing up to knock some people out at the GSCA nats?? he would ban ALL OF US. and thats not cool.

You dont like the fact that i called him the best then thats ok you take your head to who you want. An I'll take it to him. so thats the last I hope you post Jordan and Im sorry for the trouble I have done to you. I would have though for us being such a small group that we would welcome someones ideas rather then look to shut him down. I guess I'll be more carefull to help my fellow Buick member. I never know whos going to turn things all around after all this.

Maybe selling all the buicks and buying something else might be in order after all this...............

After reading all these posts I noticed something that I have suspected for quite some time. The good old boy network is alive and well on V-8 Buick. Jordan you will notice
most if not all the negative posts have come from guys that have been on here since the beginning or close to it. If you argue with one of these guys you argue with all of them.
I have had the same experiences in the past but not in such a big way. I also would like to say that not all the guys with 2002/2004 start dates are rude but there are a lot of them. I realize I will probably get flamed for this post, but too bad. Not to say I don't understand being careful where a persons money is invested but a lot of the negative comments had nothing to do with money. I don't know you Jordan but I want to thank you for at least trying to help the Buick community. Good Luck.:TU:

Anybody object to this thread being put on ice for a while? By this I mean closed for further comment.

Ok--would get your further comments on the record so I can lock this thread? I am not trying to exclude anyone. I just see nothing productive about where this thread has gone or is now going.

Aside from the entertainment value, which exists when you read with a grain of salt, I have no objection to a recess.

Good old boys, or not, when anyone uses hints, ideas, allegations, and things that should be left unsaid, while looking for backers, many here get rather leery of committing serious :dollar::dollar::dollar: I would be camping with that group. As JW suggested, ideas without tangible goods are nothing but ideas.....

    I don't object to the thread's closing.

I was surprised by behavior of parties that participated.

FYI, what happens differently regarding the Coriolis Effect on each hemisphere is valid, but only on a grand scale.

What happens in the small scale like a household kitchen sink is a different matter.

I object to this thread being closed. If you want to remove all objective individual post that are negative that is fine. I am hopeful that we could get a few guys to pay for head castings because a program for machining them could eventually be spread amongst the few versus me paying for everything. I am willing to pay for everything as I did on the 447cfm heads. If someone wants a very good head this year the castings are being run next month and wouldn't be run for probably another year. I will probably buy another set of castings for myself and will probably know if we start my machining this week in the next couple days. Good luck to you all and please no more even slightly negative comments. For those who don't know I started hot rodding Buicks in the late 60's and for Kenne-Bell in the 70's with Doug Jones as a mentor. Trust Jordan because you trust me. Thanks, ken

I just joined but have watched on a friends account and now I'm thinking of quitting due to the lack of people being grown up in this community. You all should look in the mirror and appoligize to your parents on the way you guys acted on this post because they probably raised you better than that. not all but a few of you. I would be ashmed to call myself anything to do with a buick after this post. lots of people agree but don't say so. Jordan thanks for your service to our country, I don't know you but thanks. I have had family fight in every war since the revolution war since 1776. what would our four fathers think? I think that most of our parents would paddle our behinds for acting like this and make us appoligise.

I'm tired of seeing posts removed. People say what they want to say, then edit their posts as they see fit. They may also delete their initial topics which delete the whole thing.

Other people want moderators to delete posts, which is sometimes done. This turns good topics of conversation to mush, and then nobody who comes along will be able to make heads or tails of the whole mess. This comes from people who wish they hadn't said what they did, shame on them, but don't be surprised how others react to your words! Asking for help in hindsight to get the whole conversation removed is ridiculous.

Look, this is is easy: Say what you mean to say. When someone doesn't agree with you, get your act together for a rebuttal.

If you can't tolerate criticism, both positive and negative, get out. I'm amazed to this day the folks who won't or cannot receive positive input at the same time they're being told something might be worthy of their attention regarding their efforts.

I've been told that since I am not a "head porter" that I don't understand (and this wasn't from a newer member!).

When it comes to the math, I have a lot of input, and unfortunately, that person does not.

So let's keep the discussions going! We're adults, right?

    Never be afraid of innovation.

I, for one, really want to see this done..

No worries here, thread is not going anywhere.

I chuckled at the "you guys were horrible" responses.. look around on the web, anything that went on in this thread is tame in comparision.

Bottom line, if your going to come out and say that your going to make a Tiger fit in a moose's skin... pictures of that feat would be required.

And you have to take any guff that comes your way, when you say your going to do it. Internet fighting and bickering is silly, just do the work, the rest of us will simply sit by and wait for it.. and from the sounds of it, that should only be a couple weeks.

Since this came up, I have been looking at Dart Big Chief heads on the net, and I tell ya' they are cast to have some very specific 7/16 bolt hole placements. It will be a feat to get all six bolt holes around each cylinder for a Tomahawk block, and not run into voids, ports or water.

Not doubting you... I'm just sayin.... Love to see the finished product.

Ok Ken --we will leave it but culling it will be a job. No one wants limit the technical content in this thread. It is the trading of insults and the extraneous content that need to go away. It is so out of character for this Board.
