I’ve had this car for 15 years now and she’s been through a few different motors and a little paint here and there but I went for a 60’s-70’s lowrider/cruiser. I’m into traditional hot rods and you can see the influence. I’m running a ‘69 350 with a 600 holly and ‘69 LeSabre radiator. The “Stock” th400 trans was originally a switch pitch th400 but was rebuild and converted to stock just before I got the car. This car came factory with a 4bbl 300cid (Wildcat 355) but has since had 2 ‘69 350 blocks and a ‘69 GS 350 for a short while. I’m also a member of The Scatter Barons CC in California. Enjoy!
Great car! I'm on the opposite coast in NY but have a Lesabre a year later than yours, and have had it for 18 years. Always nice to see other long term owners!
thanks! I saw a 65 vert parked when I was 18 and had to have one. I found her 5 yrs later through a family friend who’s the original owner. She’s been an obsession and a love affair. I have a few models and pics of the ‘66 since toy ‘65 more doors don’t exist
Thank you! I’ve always tried to keep this car on the road, even if it means swapping motors. Just drive it!!
That's awesome! Really cool that you are the second owner as well, don't see that very often on cars that age! I was lucky enough to get mine at 17 years old, and likewise it has been a love affair and often obsession as well.
