    Steve,
Mine's a 340. Will the tube work for that?

Heres a picture of mine that still needs cleaning, it kind of looks cobbled together but its what came with the car- 100_0321.jpg There's actually a brass fitting on the intake manifold that the metal line bolt's up to, the rubber end plugs into the booster

    Is that from your 67?

The part number for 67 (for 300 and 340) is 1381104. It also requires a clip to the head cylinder.

Its off a 67GS400 with air, I don't remember a clip. I'm a long way from that going back together

Most big cars used hose the entire length.
As Byas says the 300 and 340 used the same part 66-67 I believe.
I could make them if I had a good one to work from. The 68-72 tubes are bent differently.

Good point to note here for everyone. Do NOT use fuel hose for the vacuum hose. Very dangerous. Many replacement boosters come with fuel hose. Put it on your lawn mower or something else that is not a Buick. Proper vacuum hose is marked VL and is about twice as stiff as fuel hose.

    OK will do Steve, Thanks...

I'm going to call them on Monday, hopefully they will honor it, I don't see why they wouldn't...

    Thanks

    .

I got most of my springs and stuff in, I'm just waiting on the rear springs (should be in on Monday)...

Than I'll put it up on the lift and do that stuff at the same time as the brakes...

I'm replacing the ball joints, I don't know how old they are even though they are still good...

I might as well do everything just once, seeing that I'm putting new spindles on, new springs in, new brakes on...

Makes since to do it once...

So I will have new springs, and shocks, and brakes...

I won't know what to do, I'll stop dragging my headers and I'll be able to stop (without using my headers to stop me :Brow: )...

yeah, i've been meaning to borrow some stock buick 15s, as it seems weird that they clear my set of 15x7 and and my winter set which is 14x6 rims, so does the rear right stuff detailing d154 disc kit

FYI, I'll bet you can't run the rear disc that says most 15" wheels with 15" Buick wheels. Been there, done that, needed to mod it and still run a spacer with deeper rotors even after I ground on the calipers for clearance. I have them on it and it works great but beware. I also put in Corvette wheel studs to get more threads after using the spacers.

Here's my thread detailing how it isn't quite bolt-on for a Buick 15x7 wheel. Proceed with caution. It is pretty easy once I learned the hard way but it took a while the first time.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind...

These are from Inlinetube.com http://inlinetube.com/ and not the place you got yours, so maybe they are a little different, I'll find out...

Great news, I just got off the phone with them and they are going to honor the Good Guys Show Price...

    $1100 plus free S&H...

That's everything needed, front brakes, rear brakes, the smooth 9" booster (that I wanted), SS flex lines, SS hard lines, spindles and all the little goodies...

The guy I talked to at the Good Guys Show is who I talked with today, I had lost his card so it took some time to find out who was at that show ...

He is going to a show this weekend and will write me up like I am there so the "big wigs" can't complain ...

I should have everything by the end of next week or the beginning of the next week...

I'll make sure to add photo's...

I asked about the brake clearance, he told me that their kits are made to even work with 14" rims, so I will see...

    I stoked right now... :beers2:

I hope they are right. I'd like some measurements of the hat depth on the rotor when you get them so I can compare. I know I pulled a lot of hair before I got it all lined out.

    Goo luck!

I haven't dealt with them yet - but I'm going to very soon bc my Electra is scary when braking - thought I should mention www.scarebird.com brackets as an alternative to the full kits. The prices seem fair and they use OEM parts you can get from any store or yard. I plan to just go to their shop someday because it's only like 15 miles from me.

Well I know that The Right Stuff spends 6 digits a year testing there products with old GM engineering. I dont think any other company goes through the testing and safety the the right stuff in columbus ohio does and I have met the owner and the testing company .For me it is a no brainer to go with them http://www.getdiscbrakes.com/..All lines are bent in there shop

How did the rears work? I went with the right stuff complete kit including the "dress up kit calipers and rotors" and stainless lines. Great company, great product. I too had issues with clearance from calipers to my custom 8" wide buick rallys. My rear brakes are right stuffs ford torino rear disc brakes, because I had ford 9" bearings and axle bolt in style flanges put on my 12 bolt rear. To clear the rims drop center I had to grind the hell out of the caliper! Almost to a point that some would feel is far from safe! A few 1000 hard miles later every thing is good!

Ah, that's pretty much what I discovered. I didn't grind mine quite that bad but I can surely relate to this.

So Sorry All for not keeping this updated...

It was a bad Pain Winter (Frackin Back) and a Bad Snow Winter for me. I never got around to installing all the brakes yet...

Know it's driving season so I'm putting it off to this winter (maybe sooner if we have sh$%ty weather)...

I didn't want to tie the work bay up incase my plow went down and I had to work on it, I was hoping for a slow snow season but it wasn't for us in Western Ma...

I am going to get the car up in the air and just kind of eye ball all the parts to make sure I have everything...

    I'll keep you all updated...

    Sorry

    David
