Gonna check it out, never been there before. Craigslist it for details. Sorry posting from iPhone no link. Time for spring! That means car flea markets! ---------- Post added at 06:23 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:22 AM ---------- "Bensalem" sorry
Well, it was a small show with a small swap meet, just enough to wet the appetite. Only saw one really nice 1940's model 2 tone Buick, and also saw a BOP bellhousing for sale, otherwise it was mostly Chevy and Ford stuff. Went home with this tattered and used Hurst 4 speed boot and trim ring, looks right at home on my car! I just dropped it on, it's not attached yet and there's no hump on the floor: Funny thing: we went from the Bensalem show, drove back to Chester County, and on the way back from lunch we spotted another car show at a local car dealership, so we stopped in. Some nice cars AND we showed up just in time for the DJ to announce the burnout contest will start in 2 minutes so if you want to participate, fire your car up and pull in the back. 3 cars participated, a mid 80's Camaro beater, a 60's Mini (!), and a 73-74 Nova. The Nova won the contest, but the Mini got honorable mention, with 4 guys bravely holding the car to help facilitate the front wheel drive burnout. My 2 kids loved the burnout contest! Acutally saw TWO General Lee replicas, one at each show!
