National Pike chapter has a full weekend planned for September 13-14 and we would like to invite any Buick owner in the sothwestern Pennsylvania, West Virginia or Ohio area to join in with us. On Saturday September 13th we are holding our 3rd annual drive-in tour. We will meet between 5:00 and 6:00 PM at Jerrys curb service on Rte 51 in Bridgewater Pa. Jerrys is a true drive in restaurant just like the kind that used to be all over. You pull in , put on your lights and a waitress comes to your car takes your order then delivers the food to your car. Now whether or not you want to eat in your car is up to you . Around 6:15 or so we will leave Jerrys and head for the Dependable drive-in movie in Moon township (out by Greater Pittsburgh Int.airport) for some movie fun. As of now we are unsure what will be showing at the movie as the movies change on Thursday but as soon as the information becomes available I will post it .We usually try to select a movie for all ages. I know my son Tim really enjoys this particular event and so do some of the other younger Buick fans that attend. On Sunday the 14th the club will be attending the 3WS radio supercruise at Moon park just off of business rte 60. We have attended this cruise for 2 previous years in conjunction with The Professional Car Society. We have several members that belong to both clubs and this is a good opportunity to work together with another club and have a great time in the process. Everyone brings a covered dish and we have a buffet style lunch right in the park . Now I understand there are going to be some other Buick related activities North of the area on Sunday,however this cruise is an all day event , I know I personally arrived at 9:30 am last year and did not return home till well after dark. So as other things wrap up during the day , try to make it out to Moon park & join us . It is simply put , one of the nicest events you will see this summer , 3WS really knows how to throw a cruise Fireworks Live Bands D.J.s Food Burnout pit Firemans competition A beautiful park setting This cruise is done right and done big . If youve never attend this cruise before , National Pike would love to introduce you to it . Thanks for the heads up SS, I spoke to the folks at Jerrys today and they assured me they will be open on Saturday. They are planning to shut down for a while & do some remodeling , but not until later in the month. If your not doing anything Saturday take a ride on over . Dan
