Now that I got the tongue of the enclosed trailer extended it seems to put even more weight on the rear of the truck. Once the generator is mounted it will be another 100lbs.. Ive decided to bag the truck. The install looks pretty straight fwd in the vids I've watched. any of you have recommendations on which kit to buy? Want a on board pump. Wireless remote not really needed. Prefer stainless supply lines if possible. Thanks.

the kits are basically the same.... ride rite or air lift... On board air system for the bags no........ Your trailer has a air comp????.... other get a portable air pump for the truck... tires need the adjustment of air pressure also.....

I've got a 03 7.3 crew cab short box with the Firestone air bags. Line for each bag. They lose a few pounds each day but really not enough to make a difference. With 90lbs in them, a 2500lb truck camper and 600lb tongue weight trailer it sits level. I've had them on the truck for 12-13yrs. First put them on to level it with a 2500lb hitch weight 5th wheel.

I had Firestone bags on my last 3/4 suburban. 98. With no weight on it I only ran about 10psi in them....justbto keep them inflated.......if not the right was stiffer than I like. But I hauled my 39ft quad slide camper with it.....dry weight was just under 11k by the sticker.....no clue what tongue weight was, with weight hitch and 75psi she said level and drove as good as could be expected with a trailer that long on a slightly too short wheel base.

Mine never leaked or loss any air
