Well after exploding my 350 buick pulley that I was running on my ati balancer for at least 10 years,I'm wondering what everyone is using? I only need a alternator belt.I see the moroso 64210 is a dual groove and I think I could use the outer groove.it has the chevy 3 bolt pattern.I could also modify a 455 steel pulley but don't want to have this happen again.

What's the issue running a Chevy pulley?

If it sticks out to far then I can see why it wouldn't work but if in it is shorter then it can be spaced out I would think to make it work?

Moroso pulley works fine but....you need to enlarge the center hole to clear.

Ya I got that moroso pulley.would have to machine the center out but not sure the groove would be in alignment?
Was thinking of getting the 2 outer grooves takin off the stock pulley.

Dan, not sure what your exploding the stock pulley is about. I have a stock Buick pulley on my ATI balancer, I cut off the 2 outside grooves and elongated 3-holes to match the Chevy bolt pattern, since it centers off the center of the hub it still spins true. Been that way for close to 25 years now with no issues. Maybe you just spin yours harder then I do............lol

I used abig block chevy moroso crank pulley on my ati. The ATI has the chevy bolt pattern. So you just chuck up the pulley in a lathe and nib off the centering button and enlarge the hole to the buick size. The outter groove lines up perfectly with the altenator.
