ASC Sunroof Service/Adjustment Procedures Manual

Picked this up last week and figured a lot of you guys would be interested in a copy. I've cleaned it up a bit and saved it as a *.pdf to my web space. Anyone who wants a copy can download it at the following link:

Found it on Ebay. Had to give a pretty penny for it, but it's worth it. Pat here in Dallas with the black '73 Sun Coupe is gonna love it when I hand him a copy.

 

Is pat the guyv thats got the black stage 1 car mentioned on the board this week? Is this link only bad for me? And is this for 73 and 74 and up Sunroof cars or does it include our Suncoupes

This does not cover the '72 Sun Coupes. The book is dated August of '75, but I would expect it to apply to the '73 and up sliding steel roof cars, all bodies.

 

John were you ever able to download the manual? Anybody else having trouble getting it? If you can't download it, PM me an email address and and I can send it to you that way.

 

I can see it now. It looks a lot like the 73 fisher manual stuff I have printed. for Suncoupe owners. I have shipped a few for some 73 owners. Very good info as a lot of these cars have suunroof problems. If someone made trhe sawitches or found an alterenatetive that would be a help. ALso the gears in the roof We need to find a good one so it can be copied. most everything can be fixed with these if you have the patience

just arrived in St Robert MO (very nice talking with you again this AM :beer ) where a few packages were waiting for me... one of them contained a Chassis and Body Illustration Catalog: found 2 pages in it concerning the folding sunroof of the 1972 model 3337. For illustration I made a photos of those 2 pages, if you need it in a larger size please let me know:

Do you have any information on how the Sun Coupe option was installed on the cars? Was the vinyl top installed on the car by Buick before it went to ASC? How was the customer charged for this option on a special order car like John's?
