I need to pick up an winter car for myself eastern PA. I don't want to go out there with an empty trailer. I am in Albany, NY. I have an 18' open car trailer pulled by an F150 used for transporting automobiles. I am offering to tow your car or small truck from the Albany/Capital district area [or 1 hr's drive radius] to any eastern PA town or city north of Philly. I will transport your car carefully and safely for gas and toll money only. I have 20 years experience trailer towing.

Mike my buddy has a similar trailer where the ramps slide back into the trailer. His rattles around and make such a racket it's embarassing.

Just wondering how you keep your quiet or do they ride in the bed of your truck?

    Hello Doug,

My ramps slide under the back of the trailer as well. The orange "T" bolts secure them, so they're tight in the rear. But the front end of the ramps can rattle over significant bumps when the trailer is empty. Otherwise they're quiet. I guess you could add a piece of rubber under them at the front bottom edge. If he's got any other noises or squeaks, have him take a look at this post I made in regards to trailer maintanace and repair.

    Cheers,
    Mike
