Anyone else have a T-10?

So I just bought my 67 Special and the previous owner put in a brand new 327 and a brand new T-10 four speed. I don't see all that many people using T-10s let alone in A-bodies so I was just wondering if anyone else on here had one, namely with a small block Chevy conversion, in an A-body? I've discovered the clutch linkage is quite... interesting, and not what I would call inspired. Basically the pushrod off the back of the clutch pedal rubs horribly against the firewall and the arm linking that pushrod to the rest of the linkage is at a very odd angle. Is there any better way of setting this up? (I have pictures but there is an error uploading them, I will try to figure it out but in the meantime I can't load them sorry)
    Thanks
