We can't make it to the GS nationals, and Hebron Ohio is 1350 miles away. Are there any events planned in Texas or Oklahoma for 2009? We want to get somewhere that some other Buick people are. Seems like every track we go race at, we are the only Buick, or maybe one or two more. Trying to get stuff on the calendar so we can make plans. I told Tyler we would go to some big event this year. He is already bummed that he can't register for the Pinks All out in Ennis. You have to be 18, and he is not quite there yet.
Guys, The Buick vs Ford event in Noble in October is a cant miss. And they are begging for more car count. You would really serve the brand proud by showing up and getting the car count up. Phil on the site here always does up something down south just a bit. Its a great way to spend a day for racing, eating and sitting around talking. Another good time.
And that would be the letter K Sir! :Smarty: Check out www.lspbc.org for local Buick events in the DFW area.
That is a very good question Michael, one that I really can't answer for the club. I know for myself I got tired of only two time trials and a 10 hour day. But as a club we will try to do more TMCCC races this year. The LSPBC also has there on race program at Redline Raceway 2nd saturday of every month April - Oct. Your more than welcome to come join up and race with us.:3gears:
I've heard about those events and wanted to make it out to one. Unfortunately, I don't see it happening anytime in the near future. I live in Ft Worth now, and am not willing to drive that far with 3.90 gears ou:
We are trying to get some cars out to the Texas Raceway TMCCC event this Sunday 03/15 if you are interested.
Yeah, I was planning going but I didn't make it to the muffler shop in time on Saturday. I just got done with new headers, motor mounts, and frame pads. I needed the old exhaust system mated up to the new headers. I called and they said they close at 2. After fighting with the car, I pulled up at 1:30 and he said the work would take longer than 30minutes and he was leaving AT 2 ou: I was almost hoping the track would still be under water so I could make that event lol
