I know there's tons of these threads already and Larry usually gets lured into figuring out people's compression ratios for them even though he posts a awesome article and a nifty calculator. That being said, why change a thing right:D!! Jokes aside I did use a different calculator and figured out some numbers. I'll post my build specs here that way others with more experience with this stuff can check my work;).

    Bore diam. 4.325
    Gasket diam. 4.380
    Gasket thickness 0.027
    Stroke 3.900
    Rod length 6.608
    Comp dist. 1.995
    Deck height 10.555
    Dome volume -26cc
    Pistons 0 deck
    Combustion chambers 68cc (edelbrock specs)

I ended up getting 10.46:1. That works for me considering I want to stay on pump gas given it's a street car.

Other build specs for suggested HP/TQ numbers

The Autotec Pistons I bought from TA have 20 cc dish. Yours seem a little more pump gas friendly.

It’s low enough you can do a 100 shot of nitrous.

I got mine from JW, he spec'd them out that way for my build I'm pretty sure.

Thanks Larry, I knew you wouldn't be able to resist:D. But I did do it myself first before relying on you for it:p. On a serious note what's your thoughts on the compression amount, should I try and get a bit more or leave it be? Also what's your thoughts on HP/TQ levels for my build?

As fun as that would be I think I'm going to pass in that idea........for now;).

Should run fine on 91. Something above 500HP/500TQ.

Awesome thanks Larry. Essentially my original goal for my build was 10:1 minimum and anything over 500HP/500TQ was good for me. If I were to shave the heads a bit I could probably get a bit more out of it but I wonder where would it put me compression wise? I don't want to get into race gas territory.

I'm right at 11.0 with aluminum heads, I'd prefer your compression ratio

10.5:1 SCR would put you at 7.8 DCR. That is where my engine is. 10.75:1 would get you close to 8.0.

You can get away with 11:1, but it depends on the cam.

Installing the cam straight up at 112 ICL, would get you down to 8.2 DCR, still close to Race Gas territory at 8.4, but better.
